The 2018 Cougar Classic Cross Country Meet was a huge success with over 1100 runners and featured 41 teams from as far away as Corpus Christi Tx on a 1.5 mile course around Imperal Park in Sugar Land. We have posted the top 3 teams and top 20 runners for each of the timed divisions here on Kempnerathetics.com, with full results on runhoustontiming.net.
Check out a couple of videos and tweets about the event from the City of Sugar Land and KempnerXC. Every student and coach that we spoke to at the event loved both the layout and the challenge that the course provided, and despite being one of the more technical courses that the athletes will run before their District meet, multiple coaches reported personal bests from multiple students.
As well as thanking the coaches and athletes for coming out and running Coach Pierce sent out an e-mail to thank all of the following people and organizations who stepped up and helped make the event the success it was.
