Congratulations to Kempner Cougar Football Player Benjamin Carpenter.  He was recognized as a FIRST TEAM ACADEMIC ALL STATE for football by the Texas High School Coaches Association.  It is a great accomplishment to just be nominated for this honor but to receive first team is outstanding.  Congratulations again to Benjamin.
