Mother Nature vs. Varsity Tennis

Once again, Mother Nature was not our friend during the Varsity vs. Elkins game. Delayed due to some serious lightning, we were able to play through all of the doubles matches and a few singles matches before getting completely rained out. Exciting Win for Kempner Varsity Tennis!

It was an exciting win (10-9) for Kempner Varsity Tennis team today as they competed against Bush HS. Varsity boys really showed up by winning all three of their doubles matches and all but one of their singles! Way to go Coogs!     Good luck to our JV Team on Thursday!

Tough Defeat for Kempner Varsity Tennis Team

Kempner Varsity Tennis team originally set to play Ridge Point on Tuesday, Aug. 27, was rescheduled to Aug. 28 due to weather delays. Rescheduled matches against a very tough opponent resulted in a loss for Kempner, 0-19. Keep practicing and moving forward Cougars!

Ft. Bend Varsity Tournament Kicks Off Kempner Tennis

On Friday, Aug. 23, the Ft. Bend Varsity Tournament kicked off Kempner Tennis for the 2019-20 year. Due to multiple rain delays and lightning, late morning and afternoon matches could not be completed. We played Foster HS in the morning and were able to complete the doubles matches. Kempner won 2 out of the 7 doubles matches. Clark Baird

Varsity Team Tennis Aftermath

  Jenny Ho rests her feet after a long day of team tennis as she won 3/4 of her singles/doubles matches! Peter Tran stands in victory to celebrate his match against Wharton. Varsity lost to Baytown Sterling 13 -5 and beat Wharton 11-8! Kempner’s tennis team starts the season fighting!
