                . Shout out to members of the Kempner Tennis Teams who received All District awards! Alex Nguyen was picked for the 1st team because of his 3-2 singles record and 4-1 doubles record. Clark Baird was chosen for 2nd team because of their 4-1 doubles record in the district.

Kempner Varsity solidly defeated Lamar Consolidated on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 by a score of 15-4. Varsity got a mention in the FBISD Express Newsletter about making it to the Team Tennis Conference 5A Area Finals. Way to go Cougars!!! Varsity played in the 2nd round of the playoffs (1st round bye) on Friday, October 30, against Baytown Sterling at Clear Brook

We lost our match against Fulshear 14/3 on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. Even with a loss we played some exciting matches! Kempner Boys #1 doubles (Alex Nguyen and Clark Baird) won easily and Alex Nguyen who also won his singles match. Ethan and Vincent Khong also won their doubles match. Way to go Cougars!  

No lights, no problem for Kempner Tennis teams! We had a close match with Terry HS on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. We won 10/9 and we finished in the dark! With our adjusted schedule, our games start later and there are no lights on our tennis courts. We had many close matches but Jessica Romo

Kempner Varsity Team played well at the Pasadena Varsity Tennis Tournament on Friday, February 7, 2020. On Tuesday, Varsity Tennis lost to Clements, 0-19. It was a hard loss but our Coogs played their best against a tough team. This is the last Varsity game for Fall/Winter Team Tennis. They will be working hard to learn and improve during the off season. Looking forward to seeing more tennis from these players in the Spring!
